Chapter 1 Betrayal
Snap-hiss. Zzzz. Zzzz. Zzzz. Zzzz. “Keep your guard up Jon,” said Sean. “I’m trying but your light saber is moving too fast,” Jon said. Snap-hiss, the two colorful beams of light disappeared. “Alright Jon enough training for today we have to make it to that space station soon so let’s get going.” Sean and Jon have been sent out on a mission to destroy a very valuable space station that has been causing problem for the Galactic Republic. Ever since the Luke Skywalker and the Jedi have been gaining more and more power, a planet of the Republic has been more and more skeptical of the rising Jedi’s and their power. Corellia, the homeland of Han Solo, Sean’s father, has been more and more aggressive towards Corasaunt. “How can you destroy this station Sean doesn’t it mean a lot to your father?” asked Jon. “Of course it does but my dad and mom understand that Thrackan Sal-Solo, my uncle, is wrong for starting this uprising against the Jedi. You must understand Jon that family sadly comes after the Jedi Order. We are almost there get your stuff ready Jon.” Sean and Jon picked up their light sabers and made their way to the cockpit.
Meanwhile back on Yavin 4, Brandon was showing Sam and Jared around the temple for training lessons in the force. Brandon brought Sam and Jared to his private meditating room and was teaching the bran new Jedi Knights the art of meditation. Watching Brandon meditate Sam noticed that Brandon was shaking and sweating. Sam said, “Brandon? Is everything ok?” “Yeah Brandon you were shaking and sweating…” said Jared. “I’m sorry guys I felt a disruption in the Force, I’m sorry I have to go and find Master Skywalker go find Travis and Allison they will help you guys out.” Brandon went running towards Luke’s study which over looked the fields of the temple. The temple was centuries of, ivy was growing everywhere and the building were made from stones. According to legend this is where the first Jedi’s made residence and they discovered there powers by lifting and moving these rocks and made the temple into what it is today. Brandon made it to his Uncle and before he could speak Luke said, “I felt it too Brandon, meditate with me maybe we will find the answers we are looking for.”
Sean and Jon made it to the landing platform and snuck into the ventilation shafts. “Jon follow me we must find the main control panel to this station.” Jon always listened to his mentor and cousin without question. Jon knew that Sean was like his father and that’s the way the master apprenticeship worked. The shaft was dark; Sean was using his Force sensitive hearing to listen for guards. Sean gave the signal and all of a sudden, Snap-hiss, his green saber was on and he cut a hole through the wall and out popped Sean and Jon. Sean pointed down the hall and Jon turned on his saber and bolted down the hall. Sean made his way down the other hall and trough the door. Before opening the door the alarm sounded. “So much for an easy walk in the park,” said Sean. Guards started running from all directions and surrounded Sean. Sean thought to himself, “Not one guard is following Jon, good.” “Ah Sean, nice of you to come visit your uncle.” “I am not here for dinner Thrackan, your days are limited as the leader of Corellia you think that you can get away with treason against the Galactic Republic.” “Sean of all people I thought your family would see through the Jedi and there ilk, they are out to control the galaxy” said Thrakan. Sean thought to himself and said, “Ha, how can you be so dumb? The Jedi saved this world how can you go against US like this! Dad was right you have been abusing your power and are blinded by it.” Thrackan answered, “I’m sorry you feel that way Sean, good bye then” and he took two guards and ran out the door. Volleys of blaster fire were coming towards Sean. Deflecting each one back at its shooter Sean quickly made his way out of that hallway and made his way towards Thrackan.
The alarm was still ringing and Jon picked up the pace. Now running he was looking at the hologram map of the space station. “The main control should be… here.” Sure enough the next room was the control room. Jon was a wiz with electronics like his late grandfather and late cousin, who both shared the name Anakin. Jon paused and thought of his cousin who died about 2 years ago. Anakin saved everyone’s life by destroying a space station like this during the Vong War. Jon shook it off and after looking around he noticed a big problem. The space station was on route to Yavin 4. “Someone must have set these coordinates up but how, Thrackan could never get this station up and running during the beginning of the uprising why is it functioning now?” a voice in the back, an electronic voice, said, “That would be my doing Jon.” Jon turned his light saber on to find a human droid behind him, one that resembled C3-PO. “How do you know my name?” asked Jon. “You don’t recognize me Jon? My own cousin doesn’t recognize me… It’s me Jon it’s Anakin!”
Brandon and Luke meditated for hours without interruption. Their minds were connected through the force. This was very easy for them to do because they were family. They traveled the galaxy looking for this source of dark power until they woke up. “Whoa that was weird what happened Master?” asked Brandon. “The Dark Side is clouding our abilities Brandon. This doesn’t feel right. Before you came here Brandon I was looking to the future and I saw a dark unknown Jedi. His powers resembled that of your grandfathers. We must keep our senses open in order to catch this dark Jedi.” At that moment the holograph of Jon shows up and says, “Master Luke there seems to be a small problem here.” Jon explains the situation on why he can’t stop the shuttle and about the droid who thinks its Anakin Solo. After a long pause Luke responded, “Jon, Thrackan must be behind this and must have trained this droid with memories from Anakin which is why the droid thinks he’s Anakin and how the droid was able to start the shuttle. You must find a way to convince the droid to shut down the space ship. We are counting on you.” the hologram was gone and Luke called Brandon over. “Brandon I need you to rally a team of Jedi star fighters to go to Corellia and restore order to the planet. I have set up the ships ready to go make haste for the Corellia army and navy must be kept at bay while Sean goes after Thrackan. May the Force be with you.” Brandon ran out of the temple to meet up with Jared and the rest of his already chosen crew.
Sean, running through the hallways of the shuttle, ran into group after group of guards who pose no threat to Sean. Using his force senses, Sean is able to follow Thrackan to his escape pod. Running faster now, Sean makes it to Thrackan and his body guards without one scratch. “Surrender Thrackan I have you now.” “Your so blinded Sean it is I who has the upper hand here.” Thrackan stood up and turned on his hidden light saber. Sean was confused, Thrackan was no Jedi but Sean knew fight now ask questions later. They ran towards each other and Zzzz. Hit after hit it was easily noticeable that Sean did have the upper hand here, Thrackan was no Jedi, but where did he get that light saber from. Sean reached down and using the Force pushed Thrackan. However before Sean could do anything Thrackan was flying towards the escape pod. Thrackan got away again thought Sean whose mind was racing around and around. Sean then remembered that Jon probably needed help. Sean started running down the hall sabering each guard that got in his way. Sean made it to the control room to find Jon talking with a droid. All of a sudden, “SEAN!” the droid exclaimed. Sean was confused and looked at Jon. Jon then explained who the droid was and what was going on. They had one hour before the ship jumped into hyperspace and made it to Yavin 4.
Brandon found the guys practicing their fighting techniques in the main training room. Allison, Travis, and Seach were working on pushing and pulling while in battle. Sam, Zach and Jared were working on jumping from rock ledge to rock ledge. Ashley Wolfman Gouch and Ronnie were meditating. Brandon called them all over and explained to them the mission that was give to him by Luke. “If Thrackan escapes he will return and will have the proof he needs to spark a civil war against the Jedi and the Republic.” Everyone agreed to help out for they have not been on a mission this caliber since the Vong War. The group, who have been friends since training as younglings, had been through a lot together and trusted each other. Brandon was probably one of the best pilots the Jedi order has seen since his grandfather. They made it to the hanger grabbed an astromech droid and took off. Brandon who had R2-D2 led the way to Corellia, since he has been there numerous times. He turned on the auto pilot and started meditating.
Jon finally came up with an idea on how to turn this spaceship around. Jon explained that maybe they should treat the droid as Anakin instead of trying to convince him he’s not. If it is Anakin’s memory in there then that means that the droid is a hero and a good person and would turn the ship back around if he found out what was going on. “Sean, go and get the ship ready we will need to get out of here really quickly, trust me here.” Sean didn’t even hesitate. He trusts his cousin, so he left with his light saber in his hand and made his way towards the ship. Jon started saying, “So Anakin how are your parents and your other brother?” asked Jon. “They are very good thanks for asking. How are Uncle Luke and Aunt Mara?” They are fantastic they are on Yavin 4 with Brandon right now training what’s left of the Jedi.” Anakin looked confused. Anakin thought to himself and then asked, “Wait isn’t this ship going to Yavin 4? Yes, yes it is I programmed it to destroy Yavin 4 but why, how I love my uncle and aunt and family why would uncle Thrackan tell me there are traitors there. I have to stop this now.” Anakin walked from control panel to control panel. It worked thought Jon, he does still have Anakin’s morals. A voice from the ship said, “Self destruct sequence activated. Self destruct in T minus 2 minutes.” Anakin then said to Jon, “tell my family I am sorry and I love them. I have to make sure this ship goes down. It is my fault in the first place that it is running and put our families in danger. I am sorry Jon.” Jon thought and remembered that that’s almost exactly what the real Anakin Solo said right before he died. A tear ran down Jon’ face and he left. Jon caught up with Sean and they entered their shuttle and blasted off. Sean walked to the back of the shuttle and started to meditate on what just happened.
The group of Jedi made it to Corellia and decided on docking with the Galactic Republic’s Capital Ship right outside Corellia. Jared, Seach and Zach were in charge of setting up rooms for everyone. Travis and Allison went to go see if they could get in touch with Jon and Sean. Ashley Ronnie and Gouch went to go remove the supplies from the Jedi star fighters. Brandon and Wolfman went to go find the Admiral in charge of the ship. Lucky for Brandon the Admiral found him. “Admiral Pellaeon! Great to see you again!” Brandon said and bowed his head. “Good to see you too young Solo how are your parents?” The Admiral asked. “They are wonderful. I hope you don’t mind my fellow Jedi and I rest here for a while to scope out the Cornelian movements. Master Luke Skywalker believes that Thrackan Solo might have an immediate attack on the Republic.” Pellaeon look at Brandon uneasy but agreed, “Your presence would be most welcomed would you like to join me for dinner tonight?” Brandon responded with enthusiasm, “Thank you Admiral we would love to. I must be off now to set up. Thank you again.”
Sean looked tense and uneasy. Jon was watching his master and then saw his eyes open. “Sean, are you ok?” Sean quickly responded, “We must go to the Dagobah. I felt a distress call from a Jedi from there.” Jon retook controls and set a course for the Dagobah system. The ship jumped into hyperspace and as stars flew around them Sean was thinking of the meditation. He felt an evil force down there that was threatening a fellow Jedi. The ship landed with an abrupt stop and woke up Sean from his daze. Sean gave Jon a look of disappointment, Jon still has yet to master landing. As they got out two Jedi made their way towards the ship. Sean recognized one as Nelani Dinn but did not recognize the other. He thought nothing of this however. Nelani was a friend of Sean’s when they were very young. Nelani was explaining the situation. “We have found Darth Vectivus home. We believe his ghost still haunts this place.” The unknown Jedi then spoke. Surprisingly she knew a lot about this Darth Vectivus. “He was a Human Sith Lord from long before Darth Sidious's time. He was a shrewd but fair man, and even as a dark-sider, his self discipline and preexisting business ethics allowed him to remain fair and balanced, without succumbing to the lure of power.” Nelani showed Jon and Sean to their house which is right next to where Master Yoda used to live. Nelani gave Jon and Sean food and were talking about recent attacks from force phantoms. As dinner was winding down the wind changed and two figures appeared. They were Luke and Mara Skywalker. Jon and Sean looked confused and happy but Nelani looked uneasy and said, “These are the Force phantoms we were talking about.” Nelani reached for her light saber and Jon followed. Right as there light sabers lit so did the sabers of Luke and Mara. The unknown lady however grabbed Sean and ran inside and hid. Sean started yelling, “Why are we not helping my cousin and Nelani? What is going on?” The unknown lady said, “Sean, you could be the man your grandfather could not, with proper training. You can end this war and bring peace to the galaxy. Look at yourself closely what do you see.” Sean looked at the Jedi and said “Who are you.” the lady took off her outer layer of clothing to reveal a light saber and a black robe and hood. “I am Lumiya, Darth Lady of the Sith. I knew your grandfather, young Solo. He was a great man, evil, but great. There is something that you need to know. Your grandfather’s view along with Palpatine’s view of the Sith has skewed many Jedi’s view of the Sith. You alone can bring peace to the galaxy with my training. The Sith don’t need to use fear to rule the galaxy like your grandfather did.” Sean was barely listen and in anger said, “I am a Jedi! I have all the power I need.” The Dark Jedi concentrated while looking at Sean and said, “I can see right through you Sean. You have fear. You fear that my words might be true. Your grandfather failed! You are destined to become the next Sith Lord. Follow me.” Nelani then came in and said, “Jon is unconscious but the force phantoms are gone…” Sean then peered into the future after these words all he saw was darkness, three paths, and three deaths. One of Jon by Nelani one of Lumiya by Nelani and one of Nelani by himself. The choice was simple but difficult. He hesitated long enough that Nelani figured out who Lumiya was and opened her light saber and swung at Lumiya. Sean then defended her screaming, “No I need her wisdom!”
Jared, Seach and Ronnie cringed and looked at each other. Gouch Ronnie and Ashley did the same. As did Travis and Allison. Brandon felt like a piece of him was ripped out and dropped to floor while Wolfman looked towards the dark regions of space. What just happened Brandon thought to himself. He looked out the window and sure enough Thrackan Solo sent a fleet against the Republic. Brandon then said, “the betrayal has begun.”

Brandon felt like a piece of him was ripped out and dropped to floor while Wolfman looked towards the dark regions of space. What just happened Brandon thought to himself. He looked out the window and sure enough Thrackan Solo sent a fleet against the Republic. Brandon then said, “the betrayal has begun.”
